Minimum Noise Music Licensing

www.minimumnoise.com is a new way to license original music for a production. This is interesting to filmmakers because it gives them access to custom made music at very low prices (non-exclusive licenses typically run at $250).

Remember not to use pirated music, or music you don’t have a signed release for in your production.  The owner of the music can sue you which can be very expensive.

In addition to MiniumNoise.com, there are thousands of royalty free music libraries online. You find find them just by searching Google for “royalty free music”.

If you are a musician, and you want to break into film composing or just find new ways to monetize your work, consider creating a music library that incorporates some of your original melodies. You can sell the content through Amazon’s createspace.com by the download or on CD.  Bandcamp is another great option. This is a great way to get your music in lots of films fast . . .
